Why does alula make such a good photography location?
In its early stages of becoming a worldwide tourism destination, the time is perfect to visit and shoot incredible imagery before other photographers descend on AlUla. There are few places in the world that can rival, in such a compact area, its landscape, nature, wildlife, heritage and culture.

We have used our years of experience exploring the canyons and landscape to put together a unique itinerary which will provide you with the best sunrise, sunset and night time photo locations
-
Hegra & Dadan are UNESCO World Heritage sites. We will shoot at the famous Lonely Castle tomb at sunset
-
AlUla’s Oasis consists of over 2 million palm trees and hundreds of mud-brick Summer farms
-
The black volcanic Harrat provides breathtaking sunrise and sunset views across AlUla and beyond
-
Rainbow Rock is one of the many standalone monoliths in the area and a perfect dark space for astrophotography
-
Gharameel is an International Dark Sky Reserve with pinnacle rocks that make amazing foregrounds for the milky way
-
We will also visit well known sites such as Old Town, Elephant Rock, Jar Rock & Shal'al

TESTIMONIALS
I am offering a top rating to Nick Jackson & Photography AlUla. Recently, a friend and myself spent a week with Nick Jackson and Photography AlUla. We found it to be an incredible experience. Nick was knowledgeable about the area, offered a range of photographic options - so many that we couldn't do them all and was skilled at getting us to the right place, at the right time, for optimal light and photographic conditions. He gave us realistic expectations related to crowds, lighting and weather conditions for all stops. Moreover, we had considerable support in other travel logistics, including lodging and restaurant recommendations. It was one of the best travel photo experiences I've had the opportunity to enjoy.
